Prior to MSU - Played one season at Southwestern College and helped his team to a Mountain Conference championship...Caught nine passes for 182 yards and four tocuhdowns at Southwestern...Redshirted at San Diego State during the 2013 season.

High School: Played one season at Helix High School where he helped his team win the CIF B state championship...Was a member of the basketball and track and field teams as well.
