Prior To Southern
Duin prepped at Broken Arrow High School and played the 2023 season at Neosho County Community College. As a Panther, she was named an All-KJCCC First-Team catcher and All-Region VI Second-Team selection for the 2022 season after hitting .374 with 55 hits, 27 runs, 15 doubles, six home runs, 45 RBIs, 31 walks, a .612 slugging percentage, and a .484 on-base percentage for a 1.096 OPS. Defensively, she recorded 195 putouts, 14 assists, and caught seven runners stealing. In 2021, Duin earned All-KJCCC honors after hitting .384 with 61 hits, 34 runs, nine doubles, nine home runs, 40 RBIs, a .610 slugging percentage, and a .410 on-base percentage for a 1.020 OPS. Defensively, she totaled 250 putouts, 12 assists, four double plays, and caught seven runners stealing.
