Prior to Southern - Stephens prepped at Wright Christian Academy and Broken Arrow high school during his high school career ... A four year letter winner for the football team at Wright Christian Academy where he played in all three phases, finishing with career totals of 12 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown, 15 receptions for 371 yards and six touchdowns, seven interceptions, 69/78 in field goal attempts and 27 tackles ... Owns the Wright Christian Academy record for longest field goal at 49 yards ... Was part of the Wildcat teams that were state runner-ups his freshman and senior year and won state as a sophomore and junior ... Named All-Conference all four years as a kicker and was a second-team All-Conference selection twice at wide receiver, while also being an All-State kicker for four years ... As a soccer player, Stephens had 53 career goals at Wright Christian Academy and was a state champion his freshman and sophomore seasons while being a runner-up his seventh, eighth grade years and junior seasons ... Was a six year letter winner for his career on the soccer field ... Was an All-Conference selection five times on the pitch and was All-State five times as well ... His club soccer team played in the National Premier League and was a part of the Oklahoma Olympic Developmental program, was involved in teh southern regional premier league and the premier league west and qualified for national showcase tournaments during his stints.

Personal - Gordon is the son of Kimberly and Erich Stephens and plans to major in kinesiology at Southern.
