Delgado joined Missouri Southern as the running backs coach in 2023.
Prior to Southern he coached at Florida State and Florida A&M University along with having experience at the high school level. At Florida State, Delgado helped coach the defensive backs alongside former NFL player Pat Surtain along with Marcus Woodson and Adam Fuller in 2022 as the Seminoles went 10-3 finishing the season 13th in the CFP rankings and winners of the Cheez-It Bowl. While at FAMU in 2021 the Rattlers won the 2021 HBCU National Championship in their first FCS playoff appearance since 2001 while helping coach special teams while being on staff with Willie Simmons and James Spady.
Tony graduated with a bachelor's in physical activity and health from Auburn in 2021 and obtained a master's in sports management in 2023 from Florida State.Â
