Richie Woods is in his fourth season as an equipment manager for the Missouri Southern football team.
Woods is accredited from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and oversees all aspects of equipment and apparel for the football team.
Woods came to Southern from Coffeyville Community College where he served as the head equipment manager. Prior to Coffeyville, Woods was a student assistant coach for running backs at Southern Methodist University in 2010. Woods served as a student assistant with Pittsburg State from 2007 to 2010. Woods began his career in 2003 as a student assistant at Kansas State University.
A native of Caney, Kan., woods graduated from Kansas State in 2006 with a degree in mathmatics and accounting. He has a masters degree in coaching and recreation administration from Pittsburg State and a masters in sports management from the University of the Southwest.
