Akeem Gilmore was named MSSU Football's Wide Receivers Coach ahead of the 2025 season.

Gilmore played four seasons at Southern as a wide receiver. He racked up 508 receiving yards and four touchdowns over 36 games including 315 yards over his junior season in 2023.

The Little Rock, Arkansas, native graduated from Missouri Southern with his bachelor's in general studies in 2024.
