Prior To Southern
Nuckolls played the 2023 season at Navarro College as a utility player after completing her prep career at Lago Vista High School and was a was a four-year letter winner under coach Benjamin Hill. Over her career, she totaled 119 hits in 72 games, hitting 13 home runs, scoring 96 runs, collecting 84 RBIs, and stealing 64 bases. Nuckolls earned several individual honors, including conference and district MVP, District Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, and twice being named District Utility Player of the Year. She was also a All-Centex Third-Team honoree and played in the USSSA South National Championship Game in 2018.
