2021 - Thomas appeared in six games for the Lions as a running back and a returner ... Finished the season with 29 carries for 142 yards, two receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown while also returning five kickoffs for 105 yards for 319 all-purpose yards ... Against (RV) Nebraska-Kearney (Sep. 2) had a season-high eight carries for 29 yards ... Had an impactful performance against Central Missouri (Oct. 16) with seven carries for 65 yards including a long of 21 yards while having a 48 yard receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter and returned two kicks for 58 yards for 171 all-purpose yards in the game ... Thomas was an All-Conference selection, helping GCCC to a National Championship in 2016 ... At Ed White HS, Thomas played for coach Lawrence Johnson where he finished his career with 1,666 yards on the ground and 21 touchdowns, including 200 yards through the air and three scores ... He was a two-time All-Conference selection on the football field, while earning All-Conference, All-District and All-State accolades in track and field.
