Had a 3.50 ERA, striking out 15 and limited opposing batters to a .283 batting average ... Against Concordia - St. Paul (Mar. 6th) pitched a season-high 6.2 innings and struck out three ... In the Lions 8-2 win over Northwest Missouri (April 30th) got all three outs to close out the game by way of strikeout ... Her win sealed a historic regular season for the Lions with their 19th MIAA win after pitching the final four innings and limited the Missouri Western (May 1st) hitters off the base paths to just a walk and a single ... Part of the Lions team that was in Division II, second in triples (24), ninth in triples per game (0.52), 14^th in double plays turned (17), hit-by-pitches (42) and stolen bases (99). Ranked third in on-base percentage (0.366) and scoring average (4.91), fourth in runs scored (226) and win-loss percentage, sixth in ERA (3.27), hits (345) and WHIP (1.46).

Prior to Southern - Gann prepped at West Plains High School where she was involved in softball and soccer for the Zizzers ... Gann was a four-year starter on the softball field where she broke the West Plains career record for total strikeouts with 608, and with 72 wins ... A four-time first-team All-Conference, and All-District selection, while also picking up first-team All-Region honors twice and being named second-team All-State once ... Awarded the Most Valuable Player for West Plains for her junior season that saw the Zizzers win their first Ozark Conference and district title ... Started her collegiate career with Three Rivers College where she appeared in 29 games starting in 23 games ... Finished her career with a record of 18-4 in the circle while picking up four saves, posted a 2.64 ERA over 138 innings pitched and had 187 strikeouts ... Named first-team All-Region and All-Conference for her efforts at Three Rivers.

Personal - Abbey is the daughter of Penny and Gary Gann and plans on majoring in clinical psychology during her time at Southern.
