2021 - Appeared and started in 12 games for the Lions as a center back and right back ... Recorded two shots and two yellow cards in 981 minutes of play.

2020 - The fall season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the season was abbreviated and moved to the spring …Participated in the spring season on the defensive line ... Named to the All-MIAA 2nd-team at the conclusion of the season ...

2019 - Appeared and started in all 18 games as a center back for the Lions... Finished the season wih a team high 1,607 minutes played while firing off seven shots with two shots on goal ... A USCA College Player Award of Distinction recipent.

2018 - Appeared and started in all 18 matches as part of the defensive unit for the Lions during her sophomore season; one of eight players to see action in every contest … finished second on squad in minutes, recording 1,569 minutes and assisting goalkeeper Luz Galindo toward three shutouts … part of a team that go off to the program’s best start through ten games (6-2-2), which included huge 2-2 tie at No. 8 Central Missouri (9/30).

2017 - Played in four matches while starting one of them on defense during her first season as a Lion... recorded 107 minutes as part of a defensive unit that played a role in eight shutouts and limiting opponents to 1.164 goals per match. 

Prior to Southern – Johnson was a four-time letter winner for the Tigers of San Luis Obispo HS (SLOHS). She was a two-time All-PAC 8 first team selection her junior and senior seasons as well as the PAC 8 Defensive Player of the Year both seasons. Johnson was selected All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 3 Southern Section. SLOHS was ranked in the top 10 by the CIF for division 2. Johnson helped lead a defense that broke the Tigers’ record for shutouts (21) and fewest goals allowed (12) during a 27-win season. Johnson also played for the San Luis Obispo Club where she was the Defensive MVP for the State Cup and helped lead SLO to the 2014 State Cup Championship and a Coast Soccer League title. Johnson also won three letters on the track running the 400 and 800 for SLOHS and two letters in cross country. She also played tennis (doubles) and was a setter in volleyball.
 
Personal – Rylie is the daughter of Donna and Jim Johnson and plans to major in health promotion and wellness at Southern.
