2008-09: Kimi Shank is one of MissouriSouthern's most decorated student-athletes where she was named 2008South Central Region Women's Runner of the Year ... she claimed herfirst MIAA Title with a time of 21:54.14 helping the Lions to theirthird team title ... also placing second at the South CentralRegional Championships helped the Lions defend their Regional Title... during the week of October 6 Shank was named MIAA Runner of theWeek where she was the top Division II runner at the Oklahoma StateJamboree with a time of 21:38 ... Shank also improved finishingSeventh at the NCAA DII National Championship with a time of 21:57... her best time came at the Southern Stampede where she ran atime of 17:26.7

2006-07:  Was a top runner for Southern's crosscountry team ... had a team's best finish at MIAA Championshipsfinishing 7th and helping team to first place finish ... she alsofinished in the top 20 of every meet including a 13th place finishat the NCAA-II Regionals ... indoor season, finished with teams toptwo marks in 5000m run with a best time at MIAA Championships of18:29.18 ... also was a top runner in the mile and 3000m run ...did not compete during outdoor season as a freshmen

In high school: Was three time all-state runnerfor coach Don Knapp ... led team to school's first districtchampionship as a senior ... was two time district athlete of theyear as junior and senior ... helped pace team to three conferencechampionships and one second place finish ...was four time statequlifier in track and field ... finished 7th as a junior earningall-state honors ... set a school record in 5k with at time of18:12.00
