Prior to Southern: Sharp was a two-timeAll-Jayhawk Conference pick, being named first-team this pastseason. As a sophomore, Sharp averaged 15.7 points, 7.1 rebounds,3.2 assists, 4.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, while shooting 52percent from the field and 73 percent from the free-throwline. She was named the Jayhawk Conference Player of the Weekthree times and was named the National Junior College Player of theWeek once during her sophomore season. She scored 872 career pointsat FSCC, while knocking out 16 career double-doubles and twotriple-doubles. As a sophomore, she led the conference in stealswith 135, while ranking eighth in blocks, and finishing seventh inthe nation in steals ... Sharp was a four-year starter at FortScott High School where she is the school's all-time leader inscoring. She also holds the school record for scoring in a game(34), a season (451) and finished her career with 1,117 careerpoints. She holds school records for single-season field goalpercentage, career field goals and free throws made, single seasonthree point percentage, and finished second in career steals andthird in rebounds. She was a three-time All-Conference andAll-State pick and finished off her career averaging 21.0 pointsper game as a senior.
