Missouri Southern State University Athletics

In 2013: Appearing in 12 games for the Lions as a freshman, Gardner started 9 games at third base on the year collecting four hits while driving in six runs. Hit a three-run home run in Southern's season-opening 10-2 win over Ouachita Baptist.  

In High School: Was a three year starter and four year letter winner for Coach Walter Resa and the Lady Cardinals.  During her four years at WCHS the Lady Cards finished with four district championships and finished third in the state three times...earned second team academic all-State her freshman year and second team all-District her junior year.  In her senior year Lexie batted .426 with five home runs earning her first team honors for both All-District and All-Conference.  

Personal:  Majoring in marriage and family counseling at Southern... daughter of Justin Gardner and Dawn Hilderbrand.
