Biography

Prior to Southern
Savannah James transferred to MSSU after one season at Quincy University where she redshirted the 2024-25 season. She had a stellar stint at Grafton High School in Grafton, Wisconsin, prior to college. With the Blackhawks, James was a three-time all-conference honoree, a two-time all-state honoree, and scored over 1,000 points. Her hobbies include drawing and painting.

Savannah is the daughter of Charity and Damon James. Both Charity and Damon James played basketball for the Mayville State University Comets. Savannah has three siblings, DJ, Mya, and Madison.
