Prior to Southern
Nguyen played varsity soccer at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, during her freshman, sophomore, and senior years. She was a three-time First Team All-District selection, three-time Academic All-District and three-time Academic All-State. Helped her team win district championships over her freshman and sophomore campaigns. Totaled 22 goals 18 assists over her high school career. Scored 10 goals and six assists as a freshman. Posted eight goals and eight assists over her sophomore season. Finished her high school career with four goals and four assists as a senior. Academically, member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class.

Personal
Alicen is the daughter of Tai Nguyen. She plans to major in Kinesiology and plays forward and attacking center midfield.
