Lions Look Ahead: Sept. 28-Oct. 4

JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics has a full week of competition ahead, highlighted by two home MIAA volleyball matchups against Northwest Missouri State University and Missouri Western State University, along with men's golf, women's soccer and football all, also competing this week on the road.

Men's Golf will kick off the week at the MWSU Holiday Inn Express Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Women's Soccer will travel to Maryville, Missouri, to take on Northwest Missouri State University on Friday at 3 p.m. The Lions will return to action Sunday, traveling to St. Joseph, Missouri, to face Missouri Western State University at 1 p.m.

Women's Volleyball will host two MIAA matchups at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center, welcoming Northwest Missouri State University on Friday at 6 p.m. and Missouri Western State University on Saturday at 3 p.m. Saturday's matchup will also serve as the Lions' Pink Out Game.

Football will hit the road Saturday for an MIAA contest against Fort Hays State University at Lewis Field Stadium in Hays, Kansas. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
