JOPLIN, Mo. – Due to inclement weather in the forecast, Missouri Southern softball's 2026 NCAA Division II Central Super Regional opener on Thursday, May 21 against Central Oklahoma has been altered.

The top seeded and fifth ranked Lions will now face three seed and 11th-ranked Central Oklahoma Thursday at noon, CT at the Pat Lipira Softball Complex. That game has been moved up from its originally scheduled 6 p.m., CT start.
 
Game two and game three (if necessary) are on as scheduled for Friday, May 22. Those game times are 3 p.m. (game two) and 5:30 p.m. (if necessary, game three).
