JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics continues postseason action this week as the Lions host the NCAA Division II Central Regional in softball while baseball travels to Oklahoma for NCAA Regional play.

Softball will welcome regional competition to Joplin this week as Missouri Southern hosts the NCAA DII Central Regional at the Pat Lipira Softball Complex. The Lions open tournament play on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the first game of the regional tournament.

Baseball heads to Claremore, Oklahoma, for the NCAA DII Central Regional hosted by Rogers State University at the RCB Bank Sports Complex. Southern begins tournament play on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Both contests mark only the opening games of their respective regional tournaments. Fans are encouraged to follow Missouri Southern Athletics social media channels throughout the weekend for updates, schedules, and potential future game announcements as postseason play continues.
