JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics will have a full week of competition as men's and women's golf, baseball, softball and outdoor track & field are all in action.

The golf programs open the week Sunday through Tuesday with the men competing at the Firekeeper Open in Mayetta, Kansas, while the women travel to Afton, Oklahoma for the Spring Region Preview.

Baseball will play four games this week, beginning Tuesday at home against Pittsburg State before traveling to Emporia State for a three-game MIAA series Friday through Sunday.

Softball is scheduled for four games, opening with a road doubleheader at Missouri Western on Friday, before returning home to host Northeastern State for a doubleheader on Saturday.

The men's and women's outdoor track & field teams will compete at two meets later this week, splitting between the UCM Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Missouri, and the Harding University meet in Searcy, Arkansas, Thursday through Saturday.
