WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Missouri Southern opened play at the MIAA Championship on Monday at Mules National Golf Club – Keth Memorial Course.

Avary Eckert and Caitlin Metcalfe led the Lions with rounds of 81 (+11), tying for 37th. Maryn Harlow and Katarina Chynoranska each shot 82 (+12) to tie for 45th, while Gabrielle Rettinghaus finished with an 86 (+16) to place 55th. Cierra Tunley competed as a substitute.

Southern returns to action Tuesday for round two.
