KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Southern women's basketball (19-9) earned the fourth seed at next week's 2026 MIAA Basketball Championship.
 
The Lions will face No. 5 seeded Northwest Missouri on Friday, March 6 at noon in the Quarterfinals at Municipal Auditorium. With a win over NWMSU, MSSU would advance to Saturday's (March 7 at noon) semifinals.
 
MSSU Athletics will have a sendoff two hours prior to the women's basketball games at the Marriott in Kansas City.
