JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics prepares for a full week of competition featuring key MIAA basketball contests, home events on the diamond, and road trips for several Lion programs.
Men's Basketball begins the week Monday night at Pittsburg State University before returning home to Robert Ellis Young Gymnasium for a Thursday matchup against Fort Hays State University and a Saturday showdown with University of Nebraska Kearney. Saturday's contest will serve as Senior Day. The Lion women also host Fort Hays State on Thursday and Nebraska Kearney on Saturday as part of the home doubleheaders.
Baseball wraps up the Lion Classic on Monday at Warren Turner Field against Minnesota State University - Mankato before heading to Rogers State University for a three-game weekend series. Softball remains at home for the MIAA/GLVC Crossover at the Pat Lipira
Softball Complex, hosting University of Missouri - St. Louis on Friday and McKendree University on Saturday.
Men's Golf travels to San Antonio for the Rattler Invitational at Dominion Country Club, while Indoor Track & Field competes at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville as the Lions continue their indoor season.
