KENOSHA, Wis. – Chase Sorrell and Jaden Deaton represented the Lions at the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships Saturday at Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
 
Sorrell crossed the finish of the 10K in 31:25.8 for 82nd overall in the field of 259 runners. The National Championship meet marked the first for the sophomore from Neosho, Missouri.
 
Deaton followed, completing the course in 31:28.6 for 89th. The senior from Poplar Bluff, Missouri, ran in his second career National Championship race Saturday after previously competing in the National meet in 2022 (31:28.3, 115th).
