Drew Davis then walked, both moving up a base on a sacrifice bunt. After another walk,
Ethan Clark put one through the right side to score Parker and Davis to extend the Lion lead to 5-2.

Washburn scored two in the bottom of the seventh, but the Lions got one back in the eighth on an
Ethan Clark RBI single. The Ichabods had two runners on in the bottom of the inning, but
Laif Hultine recorded a big strikeout to end the inning. With a runner on second,
Drew Davis hit a double down the right field line to make it 8-4 MSSU. Washburn was unable to score in the bottom of the ninth to end it 8-4.
