Scouting the Lions
The Missouri Southern Lions host the Bearcats of Northwest Missouri in their regular season finale for senior night after previously defeating Washburn at home, 66-51. Previous to the Ichabods, the Lions split a two-game road series with a loss in double overtime to Fort Hays State, 85-81, after defeating Nebraska-Kearney, 86-75.
Kryslyn Jones led the Lions with 19 points (6-12 FG, 5-7 3P) and six rebounds in the victory over the Ichabods.
Ryan Franklin finished with 18 points (9-16 FG), eight rebounds and two blocks
Kaitlin Hunnicutt (12) finished in double-digits as well.

Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats of Northwest Missouri travel to Joplin after a 21-6 (15-6 MIAA) start to their season. The Bearcats are coming off of a win at home over Central Oklahoma, 77-72, after losing to at home to #21 Missouri Western, 67-44. Prior to the Griffons, the Bearcats went on a five game winning streak.
Leading the scoring for Northwest Missouri is Molly Hartnett, a 5-9 Junior Guard. Through 27 games, Hartnett averages 13.1 points per game on 40.8% shooting from the field.Â
