Previous to the Bronchos, the Lions defeated Newman on the road, 77-37, and beat Rogers State, 76-54, and Northeastern State, 72-44, at home.

The MIAA conference leading Missouri Southern Lions return to Joplin after winning their 14th-straight game of the season at Central Oklahoma, 64-58. Previous to the Bronchos, the Lions defeated Newman on the road, 77-37, and beat Rogers State, 76-54, and Northeastern State, 72-44, at home.
Ryan Franklin led the Lions with 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 FT) and 12 rebounds in the victory over the Bronchos.
Hannah Burg finished in double-digits as well with 10 points (2-6 FG, 5-7 FT), 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Ryan Franklin leads the Lions in points per game with 12.1 ppg. Three other Lions average double-digit points per game as well,

The Blue Tigers are currently on a five game losing streak with a most recent loss on the road to Central Missouri, 77-44. Previous to the Jennies, the Blue Tigers lost at hone to Northwest Missouri, 62-52, and Missouri Western, 90-51.
