The MIAA conference leading Missouri Southern Lions most recently won their 12th-straight game at home against Rogers State, 76-54. Kryslyn Jones led the Lions with 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-4 3P) and two rebounds in the 22-point victory over the Hillcats.

Scouting the Jets
The Jets of Newman host Missouri Southern after a 2-17 (1-12 MIAA) start to their season. The Jets are currently on a six-game losing streak with a recent loss at home to Central Oklahoma, 77-59, after losing back-to-back on the road at Northwest Missouri, 79-49, and Missouri Western, 108-45.
Leading the scoring for Newman is Carissa Beck, a 5-7 Senior Guard. Through 19 games, Beck averages 8.7 points per game on 33.1% shooting from the field and 35.9% from beyond the arch.
One other Jet averages near Beck's scoring which is Jaeden McMillin (8.6). The leading rebounders for Newman are Valeriya Lioukina and Delainey Wylie, who both average 4.9 rebounds per game.
