Joplin, Mo. - Due to the potential for inclement weather the NCAA Central Regional Tournament hosted by Missouri Southern has been altered with games originally slated for Friday, May 19th pushed back a day.
The second-seed Lions and sixth-seeded Mavericks of Minnesota State - Mankato will now play each other at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20th at Warren Turner Field to begin the day followed by third-seeded Southern Arkansas and seventh-seeded Arkansas Tech playing in an elimination game at 3:00 p.m. Following the first elimination game of the day, a 7:00 p.m. first pitch between the winner of the Southern Arkansas v. Arkansas Tech and the loser of the Missouri Southern v. Minnesota State - Mankato will serve as the second elimination game of the day. Championship Sunday will begin with a 12:00 p.m. (noon) first pitch with the if necessary game beginning approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game if enacted.
