Conway, Ark. - The Missouri Southern track and field program wrapped up the first meet of the season with a dominant showing from the javelin throwers at the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational on Friday Mar. 17th.
The men finished in the top four with
Rajheim Carby (63.43m) first,
Brendan Rozier (56.19m) second,
Logan Bell (53.71m) third and
Luke Brumit (51.49m) fourth. The women finished in the top three with
Keilee Johnson (49.72m) first,
Susan Moman (41.31m) second and
Mackenzie Mayer (34.25m) third. Carby and Johnson had NCAA Qualifying marks with Johnson's mark being the seventh best in program history and set a facility record.
Southern will be competing next at the ESU Relays hosted by Emporia State at Francis G. Welch Stadium on Friday Mar. 24th and Saturday Mar. 25th.
