Warrensburg, Mo. - The MSSU Women's Soccer team traveled to Warrensburg, Missouri to take on the #15 Jennies of Central Missouri in the Lions' final match of the season.
Maya Greenquist was aggressive early in her final match, taking a shot on goal in the first minute, but was saved by the Jennie goalkeeper.
Lariah Boone took a shot on goal in the 15th minute for the Lions which was saved once again by the Central Missouri goalie.
Central Missouri was able to find the back of the net in the 39th minute, giving the Jennie's a 1-0 lead over the Lions going into the half.
The Jennies came out firing in the second half, scoring three goals by the 59th minute and taking a 4-0 lead over the Lions.
Victoria Torres took a shot on goal in the 64th minute in an attempt to narrow the deficit, but was stopped by the Jennie defense.
The Jennies added one more goal before the 90th minute and secured the 5-0 victory over the Lions.Â
The Missouri Southern Women's Soccer team wraps up their season with a 0-15-3 (0-9-2 MIAA) record.Â
