Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern baseball program will have to wait just a little bit longer to play its first game of the season as the originally scheduled season opener tomorrow against Southwestern Oklahoma State has been postponed to March 29th.

Southern will now begin its season on Friday at Warren Turner Field with first pitch at 3:00pm against St. Cloud State who received votes in the Collegiate Baseball's preseason poll. Following the game against the Huskies the Lions will then play Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 12:00pm before concluding the weekend on Sunday with games against St. Cloud State at 11:00am and Southwest Baptist at 2:00pm.
