Soccer Hosts #8 Jennies

Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern soccer program will play its second MIAA conference game tomorrow as they welcome in the #8 Jennies of Central Missouri into Fred G. Hughes Stadium with a 6 pm kick-off.

Southern (1-3, 1-0 MIAA) has had Carina Calderon, Maya Greenquist and Ashley Koepp each score a goal this season and Meredith Belrose has the lone assist for the Lions. Riley Laver has gone the distance in every contest in goal tallying 25 saves on the season, and has a shutout. 

Jennies (3-1) are led by freshman forward Carolina Cole with four goals so far. Central Missouri leads the all-time series 21-8-3, for Southern this is the most played series in the programs history.
