Warrensburg, Mo. – The Missouri Southern volleyball team ran into a tough No. 2 ranked Central Missouri squad tonight and the Lions fell three sets to none inside the Multipurpose Arena. Individual set scores were 5-25, 8-25 and 8-25.
 
The Lions (3-22, 0-15 MIAA) were led by Sophie Mader with ten assists and Josey Goldberg with four kills. Frankie Enna and Brooklynn McCain had seven digs each, while Emily-Kate Lonergan had five digs and Armyni Perales and Amelia Neels had three kills each.
 
Central (21-2, 14-1 MIAA) was led by Hanna Engleken with 13 kills and Ally Offerdahl with 26 assists.
 
The opening set was all Central Missouri from the opening serve, while set two saw two ties and a single lead change. Set three saw just one tied score.
 
The Lions will have this weekend off but will be back at it on Wednesday, Nov. 3 playing at No. 3 ranked Northwest Missouri.
