St. Charles, Mo. - The Missouri Southern Women's soccer team outshot Lindenwood 14-9 on its way to a 1-0 road victory inside Hunter Stadium Friday evening.

With ten minutes left in regulation, freshman forward
Bailey Belcher headed the ball forward and collected it a couple moments later for a direct shot at the goal from ten yards out to give MSSU (6-2-1, 2-0-0 MIAA) the win.

Rylie Johnson blasted one off a free kick from her own goal which found
Sarah Tatum looking up for a header that was then headed by Belcher for the run and score. It was Belcher's third goal of the season.

The defense kept LWU (4-4-1, 1-1-0 MIAA) away from tying throughout the final minutes of regulation, including a corner kick that led to multiple opportunities for Lindenwood. Â

Luz Galindo registered her second shutout after making four saves (nine shots faced) and spending all 90 minutes between the posts.
