Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern football team has announced four different camps the program will host this summer.
The camps will run during the month of June and will consist of a Cub Camp, devoted to younger kids, as well as a kicking/punting/snapping camp, an offensive/defensive line camp and a prospect camp.
The Cub Camp will run from June 6-9 and will be for players entering grades 1-8. It will focus on the fundamentals of the game and will include a punt, pass and kick competition.
The kicking, punting and snapping camp will be on June 12th and will be for high school age players in grades 9-12. The camp will provide technical instruction for those particular positions.
The
Denver Johnson Offensive/Defensive Line Camp will be on June 13th. It will be for grades 9-12 and will be position specific with instruction and various competitions, including strength and conditioning presentations.
The prospect camp will be on June 18th. It will be for players in grades 9-12 and will feature football testing and position specific drills. All testing and drills will be conducted by the MSSU football coaching staff.
