Edmond, Okla. - The Missouri Southern Lions (5-11-2, 3-10-1 MIAA) finished their 2014 season with a 1-0 loss to Central Oklahoma (12-4-2, 9-3-2 MIAA) Sunday afternoon.

The Lions battled UCO in the first 45 mintues as both teams failed to score and entered halftime tied at 0-0. Central Oklahoma would score the match's first goal in the 81st minute as Paige Matacchiera put away a rebound off the post into the open net.

Hannah Bomar, Casey Vitale, Michaela Altvater, and Cassidy Schoolfield all recorded shots for the Lions, with Bomar and Vitale's shots on goal. Central Oklahoma recorded 30 shots with Emily Hahn and Matacchiera leading the way with five each.

Hanna Johnson got the start in the net for the Lions as she came up with eight saves while facing 29 shots.
