St. Joseph, Mo. - Missouri Southern golf finished seventh out of 19 teams in the rain shortened Central Regional Invitational hosted by Missouri Western on Tuesday.

Senior Ryan Buerk once again led the Lions as he finished in first place with a two round score of 146 for a total of four over par. Sophomore Trae Fairchild, making his Green & Gold debut, finished in 47th with a two round 157 while junior Ethan Hutcheson carded a 158. Senior Skyler Arbuckle and sophomore Taylor Lansford finished one stroke behind Hutcheson with a 159.

This was the final fall event for the Lions. The spring portion of their event will start on March 9 and 10 as they travel to Danville, Arkansas to take part in the David Falconer Classic hosted by Arkansas Tech.
