Danville, Ark. -- The Missouri Southern golf team improved three places in day two and placed eighth today at the Dave Falconer Memorial Tournament at Chamberlyne Country Club, hosted by Arkansas Tech University. 

The Lions were paced by junior Ben Knight as the mid-year transfer shot a 73 and a 75 to finish with a four-over, 148, tied for 17th place individually. Adam Johnson shot a two-day 150, while Kaleb Forkner and Gill Williams both shot a 159. Jared Essary shot a 166. 

The Lions will be back in action next week at the Central Oklahoma Tournament.
