Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern Lions
battled the Truman Bulldogs to a 0-0 tie Thursday night at Fred G.
Hughes Stadium.
The Lions did have two opportunities with junior forward Lindi
Spilchen and freshman forward Kelly White both
recording shots on goal.
Junior goalkeeper Randi Russell once
again shut-out an MIAA opponent (a 2-0 win at Washburn on September
9) this time recording three saves against the Bulldogs.
Southern goes on the road September 23 at the Unviersity of
Central Missouri for their next game and will be at home again on
September 25 against University of Nebraska-Omaha, kickoff is set
for 2pm at Hal Bodon Field.
