Jefferson City, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern golf team is in second place, just four strokes back of Central Missouri after the first two rounds of the Missouri Golf Association's Regional Preview today at Jefferson City Country Club. 

The Lions shot 16-over par as a team, including a 293 in round one and a 299 in round two. Andy Hogenmiller and Jamie Voegeli are both tied for 7th with a two-over 146. Stephen Boyd is tied for 11th at a two-round 148, while Seve Smith was 22nd with a 152. Andrew Maier finished 38th at 155. 

The Lions are in second while Drury was third followed by Washburn, St. Edwards, Newman, Missouri-St. Louis, Southwest Baptist and Missouri Western. 

Southern will complete the tournament with one 18-hole round tomorrow morning.
