Tyrone Wright Jr. led the Lions with a career-best 21 points and collected 10 rebounds in Missouri Southern’s 87-84 victory over Quincy on Dec. 12. Wright Jr. shot 8-for-11 (career-best eight baskets made) from the field, chipping in a block and a steal. He was also 5-for-6 from the free throw line. The double-double outing was his second of the campaign. He has scored 18 or more points in each of the last three games and 20 or more in two of the last three games.
