Kiara Smith started the action for the Lions at the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships as she nearly pulled off a National Championship, finishing just .02 off the leader for a National Runner-Up finish in the 60m hurdles. She crossed the line in a time of 8.41, breaking her own school record in the event.
