Pollard finished the first week of play with a team-high 34 kills, 3.04 points per set, 2.62 kills per set and had 30 digs to go with five blocks. The Lions picked up a 3-0 (25-5, 25-18, 25-11) opening game win over Lemoyne-Owen.
