Hunter was named MIAA Hitter of the Week after he helped the Lions to a 2-1 weekend at Emporia State. For the week, Hunter hit .571 with three runs, two home runs, five RBIs, ten total bases and slugged 1.429 with a .500 on-base percentage. 

He also added both a sacrifice bunt and sacrifice fly in the process and concluded his weekend with a two-run, four RBI performance.
