Brent Worley enters his first season as Assistant Coach on the MSSU Lions men's basketball staff after previously serving as a Student Assistant Coach.
Worley started out as a Student Assistant Coach under head coach Jeff Boshee before continuing the role under current head coach Sam McMahon. McMahon then elevated Worley to Assistant Coach in August 2025 after spending the past five seasons on staff.
A Poplar Bluff, Missouri, native, Worley played basketball on the Poplar Bluff High School team before joining the staff at Southern.
He graduated in May 2025 from MSSU with his bachelor's degree in General Studies. Worley is currently pursuing his Master’s in Sport and Recreation Management.
The son of Josh and Brandi Worley, Brent, is the oldest of three children. Brent has two younger sisters, Summer and Daisy.
