2010-2011: Indoor: Alex had an All-MIAA performance and All-Conference in the distant medley relay at the MIAA Indoor Championships (2/28/10)...Took 1st place at the Central Missouri Womens Mule Relays (1/28/11) in the 4x440yd with a time of 4:10.68...In the 600yd race at University Of Central Missouri Invite ( 1/21/11) Close ran 1:32.47 finished in 2nd place...Ran 1:43.38 in the 600m at Arkansas INvitational (1/7/11) and finished in 4th place...Competed at Tyson Invitational (2/11/11) Alex ran the 800m in 2:24.88...
2009-10: Indoor: At the MSSU Radioshack Invite ran the 600yd run in 1:33.65, placing 2nd... a season best in the 600yd came at the UCM Mule Relays (1:30.61)... was the 800 leg of the 1st place dmr team at the MIAA Championship. Also competed in the 600yd run, placing 10th. Outdoor: Won the 400m dash at the UCM Mule Relays in a time of 1:01.12... ran a season best 800m run in 2:24.67 and 4x400m in 3:58.72 at the MSSU Bob Laptad/Bill Williams... placed 20th in the 400m dash (1:00.07) at the Arkansas Twilight... Placed 9th in the 400m dash at the MIAA Championships, narrowly missing finals. Also competed on the 4th place 4x400 (3:57.91), running a season best time
2008-09: Indoor: competed in every meet as a freshman... had a season best at the Radioshack Invite in the 200m dash (28.85)... at the MSSU Invitational ran a season best of 1:04.37 in the 400m dash to place 13th... placed 24th in the 400m dash at the indoor MIAA Championships.; Outdoor: had a season best 400m dash at the PSU Gorilla Classic with a time of 1:03.10, good for 14th... placed 13th in the 400m dash (1:03.18) at the U of A John McDonnell Invite... ran a season best 28.18 in the 200m at the MSSU Bob Laptad/ Bill Williams Invite... placed 20th in the 400m dash at the MIAA Championships.
