Prior to Southern
Hobbs prepped at Rolla High School, where she competed in track and golf as a Bulldog. A two-time All-State pole vaulter, she was the runner-up at the state meet in the event as a senior. Hobbs was also part of the All-State 4x200-meter relay team. She earned All-Conference honors in the pole vault, long jump, and both the 4x200 and 4x100-meter relays, and was named All-District in all four events during her career.
Personal
Abby, the daughter of Larry and Amber Hobbs, is pursuing a degree in Biology at Southern. Her sister, Emma, is also on the track and field roster.
