Prior to Southern
Henshaw joins Missouri Southern after a standout career at Rogers Heritage High School, where she was a four-year varsity letterwinner and two-year team captain in golf. Playing in the No. 1 position throughout her career, she holds the school record for the lowest female round in program history. Henshaw earned 6A All-Conference honors as both a sophomore and junior and was named 6A All-State during her junior season. She also received the Relentless Pursuit of Excellence Award, was recognized as the school's Top Female Golfer, earned the Jim Lindsey Leadership Award, and was selected as a Prep Rally Female Athlete of the Week and Raising Cane's Athlete of the Week. Henshaw helped lead Rogers Heritage to back-to-back state tournament appearances during her junior and senior seasons, marking the first state qualifications in program history, while also helping the school post the highest GPA among all athletic programs in the district.
