Prior To Southern
Jackson competed in the hurdles for Norman North High School, where he set personal bests of 14.39 seconds in the 110m hurdles and 38.56 seconds in the 300m hurdles. A six-time state qualifier, three-time state finalist, and state medalist, he also maintained a 4.0 GPA during his time at Norman North.

Ryan, the son of Sarah and Matthew Jackson, is pursuing a degree in Biology at Southern.
