Individual Meet ResultsĀ 

Prior to Southern
A Joplin native, Fowler prepped at Joplin High School under coaches James Spencer and Nicholas Reid. He competed in the long jump and triple jump for the Eagles, setting personal records of 25' 3" (7.71m) in the long jump and 49' 11.75" (15.24m) in the triple jump. Fowler earned numerous honors, including the Springfield Sports Commission Award for the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, Boys Field Events Athlete of the Year, Joplin Globe Athlete of the Year - Male Track & Field (2021-22), and finalist for Gatorade Player of the Year (2021-22). He was also named SOMO Sports Track and Field Athlete of the Year (2022) and received the Aldo Sebben Award for Outstanding Class 5 High School Track & Field Athlete (2022). Unbeaten in the triple jump and long jump during his senior year, Fowler became the first Joplin Track and Field athlete to win two gold medals at the state meet.

Personal
Donovyn, the son of Shawn and Troy Fowler, is pursuing a degree in KinesiologyĀ at Southern.
